Jackie Cooper. Hackett and Rooney are a pair of sailors in the
US Navy who sneak a talking duck aboard ship. Basically a movie-length
sitcom for children.
Mickey Rooney walked off the set while filming a barroom brawl scene, as the amateur actors had gotten out of control. The incident later led to the formation of the Professional Stuntmen's Association.
