Actually, that's the Burrard Inlet. English Bay is a body of water between downtown Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada) peninsula and the main body of Vancouver, within False Creek. Granville Island, the H.R. MacMillan Planetarium, the seawall, and various beaches open on to English Bay. The Celebration of Light, an annual fireworks festival, is held in English Bay each year. Stanley Park touches it partially. The Burrard and Granville bridges span it.
