A man/woman who allows him/herself to be used as nothing more than a psychological kleenex. Often times the emotional tampon is infatuated or even madly in love with the person who is using them. Emotional tampons often do not realize they are being used and that they have no real hope of a relationship with the User. This lack of reality is why many emotional tampons will continue to be attatched to the person(s) using them for months, years, or even decades.
