female skater to
ever qualify for the top male
pro class. Elissa skates with the best (
Tony Hawk,
Bob Burnquist,
Rodney Mullen) and gives them a fair run for their money. Originally a
street skater, she took her skills to the
ramp to become the queen of all-round skating.
Elissa is the inventor of the astonishing primo grind (grinding with the board sideways, two wheels touching the rail) and the hospital flip. She is also quite skilled at pulling off front and back flips.
