Brilliant transparent
clear white light as seen during deep
contemplation or
meditation.
The images seen in the minds eye are said to be formed of the inner light. Removing all images from the canvas of the minds eye leaves only the inner light. This light intensified a thousand times is the clear white light.
During meditation the eftya, the clear white light, is experianced when when ones awareness is aware only of itself. The real world takes on a transparent, unreal quality and must be brought back into the awareness through further meditation.
The experiance of eftya is a door to transcendental possibilities and is not an end of itself.
