The one, true Edgefest is a Toronto area show that is hosted every year by 102.1 the Edge, a new rock and alternative music station owned by Corus Entertainment. Edgefest has a history dating back to 1987, but has only been known as EDGEfest since 1993. With few exceptions, the event has always occured on Canada Day, and usually at Molson Park in Barrie, Ontario.

I would like to thank Alan Cross, former program director of the Edge and host of The Ongoing History of New Rock, for providing the information that the internet couldn't. Which is pretty much every show before 2003. kthejoker has helped out too, where Alan missed information.
