Well, there is no text for this node, so I'll make some. DotComGuy is a guy who decided to live off of the internet for one year starting on January 1, 2000. The rules are that he can't leave the perimeter of his property, or go out to the local store and buy stuff. He has to get everything from the internet, including food, furniture, and all the other stuff you need to live for a year in a small house.

Its been over eight months, and I guess he's still there, fulfilling his anti-social fantasy. He is being watched by dozens of little cameras with live feeds to the web all through the house though, so I guess that would make it partly a voyeurism fantasy. He's doing it to show people you can get everything from the all mighty internet, as if everyone didn't know that already.

Not to criticize, but it seems a little foolish to me. I don't think anyone is going to be inspired by him and stop leaving their house to become hermits, so what is the point? Maybe you can figure it out.
