Daily Oral Language. An exercise given to primary school students, wherein they are told to fix one or several sentences that lack the appropriate punctuation and capitalization, and have subject-verb disagreements and incorrect verb tenses among other mistakes. Generally a good technique for making sure kids know how to write gramatically correct sentences. For example:

john gives i three of him marble yesterday

bob while paul had had had had had had had had had had had a better sound
