A very popular manga/anime about high-school detective Kudo Shinichi who, in the course of solving a case, is forced by criminals to ingest an experimental medicine which causes his body to regress to child form. As a result, he begins helping his friend's father, an inept detective, to solve cases. Shinichi keeps his identity secret however because he fears that if he goes public, the criminals will kill him in order to silence him.
