This
chubby fast bowler always seems to be vastly
popular at matches. He is bubbly and
extrovert, and has an image of a 'lad' (without
loutish connotions). He is, at his best, one of the top 5 bowlers in the world. That said, as a
fast bowler he can be a true liability, even playing for England whilst
drunk on one occasion. He's not as
incompetent with the bat as you'd expect, recently scoring 96 for Yorkshire. He must have been
pissed off. He's probably got another 5 years left before he gets passed up for
promising youths, but in the meantime he's England's most consistantly
strong bowler.
