Daughter of Laertes the Argonaut and Anticleia (herself the daughter of the legendary thief Autolycus), Ctimene is the younger sister of Odysseus, protagonist of Homer's Odyssey. She is also the foster-sister of Eumaeus, Odysseus' good friend and swineherd.

Ctimene married Eurylochus of Same (most likely Thiaki), the second-in-command on Odysseus' ship when returning home from the Trojan War. Eurylochus died in a storm sent by Zeus following his attempt to raise a mutiny against Odysseus, and so never made it home, leaving Ctimene as his exceedingly wealthy widow.
