Wacky and psychadelic animated kids' show from the seventies and early eighties (UK). Crystal-Tips is, we presume, a girl, and Alistair is her dog - of the large grey, generic variety. They seem to do little all day except chase butterflies.
Modern day (2001) children's television isn't a patch on this stuff: Bod, Crystal-Tips and Alistair, The Clangers, Mr Ben, Bagpuss, Ivor the Engine... The Teletubbies isn't even in the same league.
