Crock pot venison and gravy

2 1/2 lbs venison, in 1 inch cubes
1 pack dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup water

1. Place all ingredients in crock-pot.
2. Cook on low for 7 hours.
3. Serve with mashed potatoes.

• add thick cut carrots, and onions for a pot-roast style dish.
• top the stew with globs of prepared biscuit dough to create dumplings.
