Council of Civil Service Unions

The Council of Civil Service Unions or CCSU is the co-ordinating body for all British Trades Unions "representing non-industrial civil servants, and those in analogous employment who are in membership of trade unions representing non-industrial civil servants" (+) . Its main function is to provide the National Trade Union Side to the Civil Service National Whitley Council.

The constituent unions of the Council are:

• the FDA
• the Northern Ireland Public Services Alliance
• the Prison Officers Association
• Prospect
• the Public and Commercial Services Union

(+ That's the way the PCS phrases it; I think they mean office workers.)
