A now-defunct Linux distribution by Canadian-based software company Corel, based on Debian GNU/Linux. Designed for Windows users, it was workstation-oriented and included an easy installation process as well as various popular Corel products such as WordPerfect for Linux, at the expense of having satisfactory utility as a server. Corel made significant improvements to WINE and KDE for use in their distribution, and included other original tools to improve the user experience, such as a file manager that integrated seamlessly with Samba. However, some of the new software that Corel wrote for the distribution was not available libre. The distribution was also notoriously insecure, allowing, for instance, a user to su to root without entering any password.
