In case of rapture, this vehicle will be unmanned and other similar short statements of faith to distract unwary
atheist motorists. The meaning here, is of course
tongue-in-cheek, as anyone who espouses the view that they won't be amongst the loyal flock taken in the rapture is one who doesn't believe in it in the first place.
In fact, anyone who believes in the rapture is almost by definition one who believes they are going to be accepted into heaven. This is a sort of mid-level narcissism born of people thinking that they are the protagonist in the story of their life. Those who don't think this way tend to have low self-esteem, but then, they will probably be the ones taking pleasure in the thought of all the more assertive people they know being left in the middle of the road with cars going out of control.
Especially in Alabama.
