Some killers are strange, some are deranged, and some are just plain psycho.
Clay, played by Joaquin Phoenix, watches as his friend kills himself in an attempt to frame Clay for his murder because Clay and his wife have been having an affair. Clay makes it look like an accident, but stops the affair with wife. She presses herself on him. Enter Vince Vaughn, as Lester Long, a stranger in town that befriends Clay. Lester Long happens to be a serial killer that Dale Shelby (Janeane Garofalo), an FBI agent, comes to town looking for.
I like this movie. Edgy, psychotic, funny. I'll give it 3.5 stars out of 4.0
