Ciro Tota (1954-) was born in Italy. He starts to work for Lug (publishers) in the Seventies, mainly for final improvements and covers. He takes part in particular, from 1977 to 1980, in Blek the rock produced by the Italian studio Essegesse.
It is in 1980 that he carries out his first personal work, Photonik. Later, he created Fuzz and Fizzbi for Glénat, and, for Delcourt, draws a part of the Aquablue series, on a scenario from Thierry Cailleteau.
