Cirkus
The Young Persons' Guide To
King Crimson
Live
The album Cirkus is a two disc set of live King Crimson recordings, released in May 1999. It is the official King Crimson 30th Anniversary release, with 25 live tracks selected and remastered by Robert Fripp. The tracks are not in chronological order, but rather arranged to show how the different lineups affected the KC sound. This is meant also to provide a preview to what King Crimson may sound like in the future.
In addition to some great music (tracks listed below), CD one is enhanced with content for PC and Mac computers. This content consists of An Abbreviated Guide To King Crimson as well as a Discipline Global Mobile catalogue. Inside the cd case is a 10 page booklet with information about the various lineups of King Crimson throughout the years, and group photos of each one.
