The bassist/backup vocalist for the progressive rock band Yes. He is one of the founding members and the only one to last through all the incarnations. He sings in falsetto voice and his bass lines are high in treble and tend to be high up in register. Famous for using Rickenbacker bass, which helped to create this trademark bass sound. He has recorded a solo album called Fish Out of Water, which is hard to find in stores. It features his vocals and bass, along with cameos by Bill Bruford and Rick Wakeman.
