This is an
alcoholic cocoa drink that is something like
hot chocolate with a kick. It is especially nice on cold nights, to eat with something sweet and buttery, like cookies. It was created in
Mexico for
Day of the Dead festivities, and can be incorporated into
Samhain and
Halloween parties and celebrations.
Ingredients:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. With a hand-held mixer or a wooden beater, beat the mixture until it stops boiling and becomes slightly frothy. Stir in tequila. Serve immediately in mugs garnished with cinnamon sticks.
