The first
year-round school in the
country, and it's right across the street from my
house. It's been running for about 5 years now and has proven to be a well-run place of learning. CLA makes use of both normal lecturing-type teaching and a debate-like class activity where the students can go around and speak their minds about some specific topic
Saddly, the other Middle Schools in the city of Murfreesboro were jealous of CLA's success (despite it's student population of 1000+ kids) and whined about to the Rutherford County School Board. They then decided to shutdown the junior high grade levels at Cason Lane and forcing those student who would otherwise attend 7th and 8th grade to go to other schools around the city.
