The advertising campaign was at first aimed at women, according to the Freep, but their twink models and flirtatious taglines like "He's new in town and ready to party" landed them a fair number of gay customers. The ads now seem to be targeted directly at young gay men (or, as I said to myself on seeing the billboard near Ybor City, "Gee, I wonder what demo they're going for here?"). Nice to see some equal-opportunity crassness.
