Cyberspace Electronic Security Act of 1999, due to be passed somewhere about December '99. Purports to allow mostly unlimited
encryption exports after a one time review of the
product by the
government.
Others opinions say it&is a plot to only allow weak products out the door and you should only buy non-U.S. products. It could be one big conspiracy to eavesdrop on all your secret stuff.
