Bugbear is the name of a relativly new
Finnish game development company. Their only released game so far is
Rally Trophy, which is a very nice first game indeed, being one of my favorite
rally games. They are specialized in developed racing games wuth realistic handling /
physics.
Bugbear is also the name of a recent
windows virus, more specifically an
e-mail worm, which has brought some less than decirable publicity to the above mentioned company. The virus massmails itself to spread, and also tries to spread through open fileshares on windows-networks. As if that was not enough it also tries to get rid of various
firewall and
antivirus software it finds on the infected computer. It also
forges the from-adress on the mails it sends.
