1) A fairly simple professional wrestling move.

To perform one: While both the executor and the victim are standing, the executor lifts the victim up into the air by his crotch and chest, and then slams him down onto the canvas. The victim lands on his back. Yes, I know, it doesn't sound terribly devastating--probably the reason it's rarely used anymore. When it is used, it's usually only to set up a more complicated move to follow where the victim needs to be lying at a certain place on the mat.

Contrast this to 1987, when a body slam was the most complicated move that Hulk Hogan used to defeat Andre the Giant in the main event of Wrestlemania III, and you get an idea of how much more intricate and complicated wrestling has gotten since then.


2) A bad B movie about professional wrestling made sometime in the 1980s.

I honestly know almost nothing about this picture, and if someone wants to add a writeup below about it I'd be very appreciative.
