Widely considered the best of the four albums recorded by the "stoner rock" band kyuss. The sound is immense, fuzzy (the guitar was tuned down 2 frets and played through a bass speaker) and quite simply jaw dropping but at the same time somehow manages to avoid being cliché. Songs like the gorgeous Molten Universe, the mind blowing 50 million year trip (upside down), and the joyous stompalong that is Allen's Wrench are the reason this band built up such a cult following. Truly the sound of lost weekends and possibly the finest no nonsense rock album I've heard.
