Bleu de Laqueuille, a grand French blue cheese, was inspired by the Bleu d'Auvergne, and was created by Antoine Roussel in Laqueuille in the year 1850.

Bleu de Laqueuille is formed into cylinders, and is covered in an orange rind. The flavour is typically spicy and smooth. Affinage is three months, and is turned out with a fat content of 45%.
