Benny's Bagels; specifically, the original (Kitsilano) franchise - the founding place of what would never become Concrete, and a common meeting spot considering that it never closed and let people sit around in a (relatively) cool environs for hours without having to purchase food. (This is no longer the case.) Located at Broadway and Larch, one block from Kitsilano High School and a few more from the old house of Happyfish.
