A CGI animated television series, produced by Mainframe Entertainment in 1999.
A sequel to Beast Wars, which is a sequel to Transformers.
The series takes place after the conclusion of the Beast Wars. The Maximals had finally
defeated the Predacons, and were on their way home their home planet, Cybertron, when
Optimus Primal, leader of the Maximals, suddenly finds himself being chased by tank drones,
in his original form, on Cybertron, unable to transform and without a single clue how he got
there. He soon finds fellow Maximals Rattrap, Cheetor and Blackarachnia, and together they
try to find out what happened to them, and to the now-depopulated Cybertron. Could the Predacon
leader Megatron be up to something...?
The series lasted for two seasons, with the final episode causing quite a bit of controversy among
the transfans.
