Now called Koyunhisar, city in modern-day Turkey near Izmit and Iznik, conquered by Sultan Osman Gazi in 1301, who defeated the combined forces of Bursa Atranos, Kestrel, and Kite, opening the door to further conquest by the Ottomans, including the taking of Constantinople.
