During the past years, free software has gained much popularity. Many people have found themselves engaged in an ongoing battle between what is called the ``open source'' and ``free software'' fractions. Several has gone to the extreme point of thinking that everything developed by the FSF, should be replaced by utilities from the BSD systems. The primary reason is that they simply do not like the FSF or the GNU Project.
