Give 'em the axe! the axe! the axe!
Give 'em the axe! the axe! the axe!
Give 'em the axe!
Give 'em the axe!
Where?

Right in the neck! the neck! the neck!
Right in the neck! the neck! the neck!
Right in the neck!
Right in the neck!
There!

okkaY, so it's not much in words, but when it's yelled at the top of your lungs and a pace you'd have to experience to believe by thousands of spirited students, it's pretty friggin cool.

Maybe that's how they yell it at Cal Berkeley, but when I was a lass at Stanford many moons ago, we chanted this:

Give 'em the axe! the axe! the axe!
Give 'em the axe! the axe! the axe!
Where?
IN THE WEENIE!!

Hence the nickname we had for our esteemed colleagues across the bay: Cal Weenies.
