Atlantic Youth Bowling
The Atlantic Youth Bowling
Council Program was started in
August 1992, when the
New Brunswick Bowling Proprietor’s Association
decided to design a Youth Bowling program specifically for
Candlepin Bowling.
In the first year, only bowlers from New Brunswick were
involved along with four test sites in the
US. The following year, bowlers from
Nova Scotia joined the program.
Currently,
membership stands at approximately
1700 bowlers, but have at some points had over 5000 youth bowlers. 13 clubs from New Brunswick and 17 from Nova Scotia are joined
together in AYB, which also arranges
annual fun tournaments with titles like:
