A town in northeastern Pennsylvania, at the confluence of the Susquehanna and the Chemung rivers. Once home to Stephen Foster. The place where the rivers meet is known as Tioga point. Unfortunately, Tioga is a Native American word meaning "point".

Just south of Sayre, and about five minutes south of the New York border. Population near 2500. Founded by settlers from Connecticut in the 18th century.
