Within
astrology, there are
gender differences, as in six of them have a
feminine or "
negative" qualities, and the other six have
masculine or "
positive"
traits. Not to say that one side is better than the other, these are just the terms used.
The feminine signs are basically more
quiet, more
cunning and
crafty, even
introverted, whereas the masculine are more
brash,
quileless and generally fitting of the term
extroverted. Feminine signs are more
thoughtful, masculine are more
direct, less weighed down by the thought of
consequence.
Water signs and earth signs are feminine, fire signs and air signs are masculine.
Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces are the the feminine signs.
Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius are the masculine.
