Also Ashmeday, Asmodius, Sydoney, Hasmoday. Not to be confused with Asmodeus. He is one of the fallen angels. He is one of those angels who descended and taught the secrets of the universe to mankind, in his case the secrets of mathematics. He is also said to have knowledge of the future and the ability to make people invisible. He rules over 72 legions of infernal spirits. Asmoday's physical form is a creature with three heads: a bull, a ram, and a man. As Hasmoday, he is one of the demons of the moon. Asmoday appears in John Dryden's poem, "The State of Innocence".
