Ann B. Davis was born May 5, 1926 in Schenectady, NY. She is best-known for her role as Alice, the maid from The Brady Bunch, from 1969-1974.

She studied at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, graduating in 1948. She won two Emmy Awards, in 1957 and 1958, for her performances on The Bob Cummings Show.

After The Brady Bunch ended, she moved to a Christian community in Denver, CO. She returned to Hollywood to appear in A Very Brady Christmas in 1988, Naked Gun 33 1/2 in 1994, and The Brady Bunch Movie in 1995.

Ann B. Davis died on June 1, 2014, from a subdural hematoma after a fall in her bathroom. She was 88 years old.
