In the
Babylon 5 universe, the military organization founded by
Valen to keep watch for signs of the return of the
Shadows, and to fight them when the time came. The name translates roughly as "Rangers."
By 2259, the Anla'shok had both human and Minbari members. The Rangers became the primary crew for the White Star fleet, and, later, the peacekeeping arm of the Interstellar Alliance. Ranger headquarters are located in the city of Tuzanor, on Minbar.
