Ballistics: The angle between the trajectory of a projectile and the surface it hits. An AoI close to 90° reduces the risk of deflection.

Optics:

The angle from the normal at which light strikes a surface. Snell's law can be used to calculate at what angle light will bend at a change in index of refraction given the angle of incidence.

The angle between the chord of an aërocurve and the relative direction of the undisturbed air current.
