Altama's product line includes full combat boots, jungle boots, work boots, and tactical boots for law enforcement. Most of their products are available in mil-spec and commercial grade. The difference in the products offered to the military and the commerce sector is minute; the soles of the commercial boots are made of PVC and polyurethane instead of rubber, and the lacing eyelets are coated aluminum instead of coated brass.
Altama's boots, in my experience, have been ridiculously comfortable and extremely durable for everyday wear; one pair of their mil-spec jungle boots lasted me for more than two years with continuous wear and only seemed to become more comfortable with time and abuse.
