A chicago no-wave band not to be confused with Adam and the Ants, no matter how hard they tried, this group attempted to live the lives of the aforementioned band. This entailed playing gigs at the same venues on the same dates if possible, completely acting their roles through rumored drug addictions, tangles with the law and each other, and exact clothing, hair styles, tattoos, and tooth fillings. (slight exaggeration about the hair styles)

Unfortunately, to quote Jonathan Swift, "When a true genius appears in the world you may know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in confederacy against him."

Nobody seemed to get it, or perhaps they did and didn't want to be outshined by an imitation better than the real.
