Very handy
Windows program which acts as an
HTML Proxy for your web browser. What it does is to analyse the HTML code of the web pages that your browser downloads, and strips out any code that displays
banner ads.
This means (a) You don't get annoying advertisments on every page, and (b) Your pages load much faster. It also stops mischevious porn sites from going crazy ape-shit bonkers opening windows everywhere, and other such annoyances.

Caveat: I have in the past had some occasional errors accessing secure (SSL) sites, but they've probably fixed that now. Anyway, a great program.
