Advanced Computer Entertainment. Amazing English computer magazine that certainly did live up to its name. In 1990 they were doing features about
MPEG,
CD-ROM, multiplayer gaming, hypermedia and whatnot. Most of the things they speculated about seemed implausible back then but are commonplace now. Its decline began when it started including coverdisks and turning into a plain games magazine.
In my opinion ACE was (in its "golden age" at least) the best computer gaming magazine ever. It's sad that no one seems to remember it any more.
