The A-Channel is a television station in Alberta. Their goal is to combine purchased TV Programs, and locally produced productions to appeal to Albertans. Their slogan is 'Innovative. Interactive. Independant.' The 'Independant' part is meant to represent that they are one of very few stations in Alberta that is not in some way sponsored or operated by the Government. As a result of this, their news programs tend to be a little more frank than other programs. It also appears that the people working there have more fun than other TV stations.
