A Meeting of the School Trustees is a 1885 painting which hangs in the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa. It was painted by Robert Harris, a Welsh-born painter, who is best known for his painting Meeting of the Delegates of British North America or Fathers of the Confederation.

Harris was inspired to paint the painting after meeting Kate Henderson, a rural schoolteacher from Long Creek, Prince Edward Island, who challenged the local school board who criticized for her non-traditional methods.

After Harris painted the scene that Henderson described to him, she was hailed as a pioneer for modern education in Canada.
