(book) by Dylan Thomas

Poet Dylan Thomas (Do Not Go Gentle into that Good Night, And Death Shall have No Dominion) uses rambling, smart phrases, anecdotes, and his own simple power with words to illustrate his childhood in Wales in describing one Christmas.

My dad read this to my family every year at Christmas at least five times. Thomas' diction and word choice are really quite astounding. One of the best children's books I've read.
