1983 Yes album that was their most
commerical success and spawned the hit "
Owner of a Lonely Heart."
The band in 1983 consisted of Jon Anderson, Tony Kaye, Alan White, Chris Squire, and newcomer Trevor Rabin. Many classic Yes fans despised Rabin because he wasn't Steve Howe. The Yes fan camp later split into what were called "Generators' (after 1987s "Big Generator") and "Troopers" (after the song "Starship Trooper" from The Yes Album).
The album got its name because that was its catalog number in the Atlantic Records catalog.
