The country code top level domain (ccTLD) .GD is assigned to Grenada. The TLD is not restricted for use. There are no requirements for a connection to the country itself and is available for use worldwide.

The .GD ccTLD has been activated by The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC), the sponsor, and nicGD, the registrar. The ccTLD has been available since 1992. The Internet and the ccTLD is available and popular both inside and outside the country.

The original registrar was AdamsNames LTD. In 2013, the company split and both entities claimed to be the official registrar of the ccTLD. The NTRC removed both entities and took control to preserve the integrity of the domain naming system. The temporary freeze by NTRC was lifted and the ccTLD is again available for use.
