Talking Heads '77, a set of songs which were committed to vinyl and released in a dayglo orange cover late in 1977. The best slice of music you could take home with you in the 1970s. This record set the stage for much of the new music scene of the early 1980s, and still sounds fresh in the late 1990s. Endlessly contrapuntal, somewhat self-referential. Lauded by critics, underrated by Talking Heads fans.
